This exhibit examines and addresses the strong artistic, stylistic, and geographic connections and influences that prevailed between artists’ work produced in Southeast Texas and the important early Texas artists working around the state from 1925 to 1965. It will feature a wide array of paintings, drawings and sculptures borrowed from collectors and from AMSET’s permanent collection.
