This year, we are doing an Egyptian Gold theme and asking you to Walk Like an Egyptian right down to AMSET! You never know, you may walk out doing the “sand dance” with $10,000 in gold coins in your robes!
Go for the Gold is a reverse drawing and a great opportunity to win $10,000 in sumptuous, glittering gold coins straight from the Nile. The event will be held at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, March 12, 2020 at the Art Museum of Southeast Texas next to the Neches River Nile.
Tickets cost $100 for members and $120 for non-members and admit two people into the art museum for an exciting evening of entertainment, watching the suspenseful reverse drawing and each other dressed as Egyptians. (You can come in 2020 street clothes too if you can’t muster the Nile stuff).
Go for the Gold has a golden top drawer open bar and fabulous festive food fit for the pharaohs all evening.
Only 450 tickets will be sold, and a number of prizes are given away throughout the evening, including a $1,500 second prize and a $1,000 third prize also in gold coins. You need not be present to win, but the thrill of winning while in a crowd of Egyptian supporters is unsurpassed.
Call your favorite Pharaoh Board member today to purchase a ticket, or call the art museum at (409) 832-3432, or purchase a ticket online at amset.org. Tickets sell in a hurry, so don’t delay!
All proceeds benefit the museum’s spectacular exhibition and education programs.
