Joining in on the First Thursday fun downtown, AMSET stays open later and gives the community a chance to see its current exhibitions while enjoying great jazz!

AMSET's new Café Art Series, THOMAS DURAN: Obscurity of a Moment, will be on view.

Jazzy sounds will be brought to you by ReBop and a featured musician.

AMSET's First Thursday March Pop-Up artist will be Carrie Kennedy Arriete, abstract artist and Southeast Texas native. With a now empty nest, she has rediscovered her love of art and enjoys experimenting with different types of mediums in her lab/studio.

Admission is free and open to the public. Wine and beer will be available for purchase and light refreshments will be offered.

The event will take place Thursday, March 5, 2020, 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the museum’s café and foyer.
