Justice Illuminated: The Art of Arthur Szyk organized by The Arthur Szyk Society, exhibits reproductions as well as original art by artist Arthur Szyk focusing on three themes: World War II, America and Jewish Response. Arthur Szyk was a Polish Jew who escaped Europe in the wake of the Holocaust and immigrated to the United States in December 1940. Curator, Rabbi Irvin Ungar, will be attending the opening reception and present a lecture addressing the themes found in Szyk’s artwork.
