The fall 2024 display in the Conn Take pART  Education Gallery includes paintings and sculptures from the museum’s permanent collection that are paired with sketches of those objects. Notable Texas artists on display include Robert Levers, Robert Rogan, Vincent Falsetta, and David Everett. The display invites visitors to explore the similarities and differences between an artist’s sketches and doodles compared to the final artwork.  Some of the drawings, including Robert Rogan’s sketchbook pages and David Everett’s sketch for Coterie, are on display for the first time since their acquisition by the museum.
