At AMSET’s popular summer camp, children ages 5-14 can choose from many class options for high quality, intensive, art education experiences taught by professional artists and art educators. Campers are divided into three age groups for half day, week-long classes, all designed with age-appropriate art activities.Â
Registrations for Summer ArtVentures are processed by mailing in the registration form to AMSET with payment, online or over the phone via credit card payment. Class sizes are limited. Registration is now open.
Children ages 5-7 will have the opportunity to sample clay, paint, and mixed media through simplified projects formatted for their age group. These classes will be augmented with art-related story times and outdoor activities.
Children ages 8-11 have many exciting courses to choose from including clay, textiles, mixed media, printmaking, and even kinetic art.
Teens ages 12-14 engage in making art- a valuable life skill.TeenVentures in Art is a special week just for teens interested in exploring more advanced art-making practices.
